The university's sprawling campus is truly impressive, with ample space for students to learn, relax, and engage in various activities. The university's amenities are top-notch, providing students with access to cutting-edge facilities that enhance their learning experience. The wide open areas and beautiful landscaping create a welcoming environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging among students. The accommodating staff are dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal needs, making the university a great place to learn and grow.

The process of requesting documents from their office is very time consuming. They don’t have a proper system and relies on their clients to do the job for them. Putting fees on top of their services is understandable. But making their clients do the job for them is unacceptable.

November 21st, 2024, The day of UE's Christmas tree lighting. This was supposed to be a joyful event for the students, including my sister. However, her phone was stolen by some student, or possibly even an outsider considering that UE's security is so low, they just let anyone in, even if they are clearly minors or in uniform from other schools. My sister had important photos, videos, contacts, and files on that phone. How could you take from a mere junior student? I consistently tried to track the phone, but I can no longer connect with it, which means it's most likely reformatted by now. It wasn't even one of those expensive units such as an Iphone. Whoever did this has no sense of the DepEd values: Makadiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa. That very same day, my sister's friend had her wallet stolen too. This theme of people getting their cellphones, wallets, and even textbooks stolen is not new. I have been hearing cases like these for years. From my sister and peers. Well, I guess we should expect this utter disregard for “Huwag kang magnanakaw” or seventh commandment in the Ten Commandments, as even fraternities are inside the school. And even invite juniors (teens ranging 13-15 years old) to join them. This is making me question what kind of values this university teaches its students. It would seem that the University of the east yields students that would perform the most heinous acts when nobody is watching them. If you want your kids to be future corrupt politicians, phone snatchers, criminals, and burdens to society. UE ka na!

I studied here in University of the East Caloocan decades ago. Enrolled in Fine arts. Then transferred to UE Recto. I used to walk going back to Sangandaan (Mabini). Lots of cafes, photocopy, printing, food, sari sari stores all around.
