Little Me Academy

My spouse and I were looking for a school that is DEPED certified to conduct Online Distance Learning (it is a setup where the teacher and students interact using internet with computer/tablet/cellphone). We wanted to try this setup. And so far we are very very happy we found Little Me Academy. They are precisely the school that we were looking for. They have been around for almost two decades now. Their teachers are very competent and professional. They are not perfect; nothing on this planet is. But we love many things about them. They have a physical school in Cagayan De Oro. They offer face to face, Online Distance Learning, Homeschooling, and Hybrid of Homeschool and Face to Face. We like Online Distance Learning for many reasons. The focus in the class is really the lessons. The teacher need not shout to be heard. Social interaction actually is clearer between teacher and between students. We love the materials that LMA provides. They have a solid Tech Support over there handling the email accounts, techy stuff. I have more to say but I so love this school. I highly recommend you try them for your kids. Especially the ODL (Online Distance Learning).

Little Me Academy's (LMA) Online Distance Learning is so worth it. Do not believe what the other reviewer say that it's a rip off. What a ridiculous assessment in my opinion. If you are a parent who just would like what's best for your kid, you should asses things by comparing value for value. What I mean is observe what "value" LMA gives you and your family, and the value that you are giving LMA. And I mean really assess everything. This is a two-way relationship just like many things in life (friendship, romance, parenthood, business, etc.). Our daughter is enrolled to their Online Distance Learning program and we are very grateful that she is. The "value" that we're getting is so much worth what we are spending. The teachers at LMA are very competent and smart. They work professionally. The adviser of my daughter is always on time for class and doesn't waste any minute. (Comparing this from traditional school, it's a no-contest. ) Online Distance Learning is superior to Face to Face in terms of focus on the lessons, communication clarity between teachers and students, and just the absence of unnecessary stuff like bullying, viruses, dirty rest rooms, mosquitoes, bad people, and many other stuff that one can experience in the traditional school setting. Little Me Academy is really a wonderful school and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a wonderful school for their kids. I know of many people, who, when they started, they continued year after year enrolling to LMA because of the good experience.

Parents, AVOID Little Me Academy's online program at all costs. They charge you P12k+ for materials "curated by teachers" and a curriculum "from the US", but the truth is, it's just downloaded off another website that sells it for P3k+. The only "curated" part of the curriculum is that they omit the US-specific content, like US holidays and lessons (ie US geography, history, etc.) What a rip off! All that talk for quality education but this "school" is so SHADY. When you contact, Ramonette Legaspi- Olandesca, their "Chief Education Officer" about it, she'll just give you a bunch of justifications saying the 12k+ tuition paid is for the curriculum plus expenses. What expenses? The text printed on ECONO-MODE that's barely readable? The 10 minutes it took your admin to make an email address? Such bad faith. And this is a SCHOOL, for goodness sake! Clearly they operate with only profit in mind because this is the LEAST EFFORT I've seen from a school during this pandemic. Parents, I'd suggest you look at other options for quality, home-based education. Little Me Academy is NOT it.
